Deputy Chief Constable denies wrong doing

(July 30, 2007)
In  a letter only just released per the data protection act,
Adam Gary Sutherland DCC of Northern Constabulary states that although he is aware that a court hearing is to be heard on the 25th February 2005 in a matter of title, he still proceeded with disclosing information to another party. In his letter of reply to the complaint, dated 14 Dec 2004, Mr Sutherland claimed that he was satisfied that his staff acted appropriately. His letter dated 14 Jan 2005 placed responsibility on others, namely civilian staff member Norman Macleod.

Mr Norman Macleod was subject to a complaint along with Inspector Macpherson and Gregor a.k.a. Winkie Macleod of Tain. See 'Northern Constabulary fail to investigate complaint'.
