NOT SINISTER BUT "PUBLIC SPIRITED". (February 19, 2009)
Dear Sir or Madam,
The author of the description of the Speculative Society on your
website as "sinister" is unfair and misinformed. I attended a
typical meeting last night, at which the business was a discussion of
the environmental benefit and harm of modern methods of farming. You
should not publish unfounded aspersions about harmless and public-
spirited clubs and societies.
