Sheriff Principal admits Membership of Sinister Society

Today at Dingwall Sheriff Court Sheriff Principal Sir Stephen Young admitted to being a member of a sinister society The Spec of Edinburgh.He claimed today in open court "that it was just the same as being in a golf or dance club".

He today further denied that Chief Constable Latimer was not a member of The Spec but only of the Carlisle Football Club.He also refused to put on tape a hearing ruling that as it was done without tape recording up and down the country that this was a standard acceptable to him.

The Sheriff Principal further  denied that Chief Constable Latimer was closely associated with either him or any other  member of The Speculative  Society .

He still upheld that Chief Supt Laurie Stewart was a credible and reliable witness..

Sir Stephen Stewart Templeton Young Bt QC MA LLB is a Scottish Baronet and currently holds the post of Sheriff Principal of Grampain, Highland and Islands. He is the third Baronet of Partick.

He gained an MA from Oxford University and a LLB from Edinburgh University.

He was appointed Sherriff Principal of Grampain, Highlands and Islands in 2001.

He became a QC in 2002 and in 2005 was appointed Chairman of the Sheriff Court Rules Council.

he is also a Commissioner of the Northern Lighthouse Board and a Governer of The Robert Gordon University.

He is also a member of The Speculative Socierty Edinburgh"
